And we're back to walking with Rand!
Is that for me?
Wait, she gets ogled this episode as well! And, also, turns out she was eating some of Sulu's food.

He is not an inanimate object.
I feel privileged, we did get some character filling. We find out Rand and Sulu seem to be friends.

Crewman, do I know you?
I'll be honest, this one's just here because I love Uhura's walk in this for some reason, and I had to point out that he's wearing blue linen overalls. Just... really?

Try taking one of those red pills you gave me last week.
Let us all take a moment to appreciate this. Kirk obviously is.

You have such strong memories of me.
I feel this speaks for itself.

Would you look at that!
Let us count the women in trousers. This doesn't happen all that often. Okay, it's two, but that was two more than I was expecting! So trouser'd women in Star Trek is very much canon in TOS! It's the small victories, sometimes.

Perhaps I can help.
I'm wondering if the slow and lethargic speaking is supposed to be a signal that the creature is running out of energy, or what. What's that? I'm the only one wondering? Okay.

Set your phaser on one quarter, I'll leave mine on stun.
Spock:*thinking* Holy fuck, what is that fucker doing?
Kirk:"Mr. Spock, did you see me running?"
Spock:"Yes sir, excellent zigzag form, not ridiculous in the least. The enemy will never be able to hit you. Just to confirm, Captain, you did specifically state in your will that I would be receiving both the ship and Doctor McCoy, correct?"

Recommend we use truth serum, Captain.
Kirk seems to have put an awful lot of thought into what all you could do with a person/creature who could become anyone.

Is that Nancy, Doctor?
I can only assume that McCoy does... nothing, really, because he's still under the influence of those red pills. Part of him has to wonder if this is all some trippy dream.

That 'fight' between Spock and Salty was... special. Wonder where he learned that technique.

Something wrong, Captain?
Spock:"I trust this will not occur again."
Kirk:"Yes, Bones, you've learned your lesson, haven't you?"
McCoy:*is so never bringing a girlfriend home again*

And, since you've stuck around this long, a couple of bonus images:
Run, Kirk, run!

Making a Loud Noise Until Rescued

"I thought," said Piglet earnestly, "that if Eeyore stood at the bottom of the tree, and if Pooh stood on Eeyore's back, and if I stood on Pooh's shoulders----"

"And if Eeyore's back snapped suddenly, then we could all laugh. Ha ha! Amusing in a quiet way," said Eeyore, "but not really helpful."

"Well," said Piglet meekly, "I thought----"

"Would it break your back, Eeyore?" asked Pooh, very much surprised.

"That's what would be so interesting, Pooh. Not being quite sure till afterwards."
